Only 40 seniors each year

Yearbook photo delivered to the school for you

The kids who say they hate photos are my favorite ones.

No stiff poses, no frozen smiles, no heavy filters. I keep it moving and keep them laughing — especially the boys who gave you ten minutes, and they're done.

    Yearbook image submitted to school

Priority scheduling — first pick of dates

    $1,395or 4 Ɨ $349

You print them, not me. Every collection comes with a personal print release — download your images and print them as often as you like, for announcements, frames, gifts, grandparents. No ordering appointment, no print packages, nothing to buy afterward.

Print them big, and print them right. These are full-resolution files — a 16Ɨ20 over the couch is well within range. When I hand over your gallery, I'll tell you exactly where to order them: the same professional lab I use, open to anyone. Drugstore printers turn professional files flat and grey. This way yours come back looking like the ones I'd have made myself.

Not sure which package fits? That's what the call is for — and it's completely fine if the answer is the smallest one.

"Mike Franklin is a fantastic photographer! He captures a great portrait, but there is something more... his photo compositions are beautiful, interesting, and colorful!"

— Chaundra Ward

I'm Mike — and I'd rather get your teen laughing than tell them to tilt their chin and hold it.

This is what I do full time, and have for 20 years. My style is clean and natural — no heavy filters, no stiff poses, no frozen smiles. Just real expressions that actually look like your daughter or your son.

The kind of photos you'll still love after they've packed up and gone.

"My senior hates having their picture taken." I hear it all the time, and those are some of my favorite sessions. After all that time, I know how to loosen up a teenager who swore they weren't giving me a real smile.

Let’s talk for ten minutes.

Tell me about your senior; I'll tell you what dates are left, and you can decide after. No pressure, no pitch.

FAQ Senior Portrait Addition!

  • Do you offer Payment Plans?

YES, I understand that senior portraits are an investment. I'm more than happy to accommodate families by offering flexible payment plans to ease the financial commitment. Let's work together to find a plan that fits your budget and ensures you can cherish these memories for years to come.

  • What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule our session?

Life happens, and I understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. We have a flexible cancellation and rescheduling policy to accommodate such situations. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your appointment.

  • How far in advance should we book our senior portrait session?

To secure your preferred date and time, it's best to book your senior portrait session at least 4-6 weeks in advance. This ensures ample time for planning and allows flexibility in case of any scheduling conflicts.

  • What is the difference between editing and retouching?

Editing involves making broad adjustments to enhance the overall look of the photo, such as tweaking brightness or color to create a certain style. Retouching targets specific areas to fix imperfections, like blemishes or enhancing features, to achieve a polished final result.

  • What should my senior wear for the photoshoot?

I recommend wearing outfits that reflect your senior's personality and style. Solid colors or simple patterns typically work best, avoiding large logos or busy patterns that may distract from the subject. I like to see at least 3 outfits for a good variety.

  • When is the best time to schedule my senior's portrait session in Spokane?

We recommend scheduling your senior's portrait session during the summer before their senior year. Ideally, booking before August helps avoid the peak of summer heat and potential fire hazards. However, if this timeframe doesn't work for you, don't worry! We're flexible and will find a suitable alternative to ensure a comfortable and safe photoshoot experience.

  • How soon will we receive the final edited images?

Approximately two weeks after the photoshoot, you'll receive an online gallery where you can review the unedited images and choose the package that best suits your family's preferences. Once you've made your selections, the edited images are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks.

  • What if the weather is unfavorable on the scheduled photoshoot date?

We closely monitor weather forecasts leading up to the scheduled date and will work with you to reschedule if necessary. Alternatively, we can explore indoor locations or studio setups to ensure the session proceeds smoothly regardless of the weather conditions.
